This page explains what PickToolkit collects when you visit, and what it does not collect. It is short on purpose. If anything here is unclear, email us and ask.
What this site collects
Basic visit data. PickToolkit runs on WordPress.com, a hosted platform operated by Automattic. Like most web hosts, Automattic records basic technical information about the requests that reach the site, so the site stays online and works. We do not have access to those raw logs.
Site statistics. We use the statistics built into WordPress.com to see which pages people read and which ones they skip. That tells us what to write next. We do not run a separate analytics tool on top of it.
Your email address, if you subscribe. Pages on this site include a WordPress.com subscription form. If you enter your address there, we receive it and use it to send you new posts. We do not sell or rent it. Ask us to delete it and we will.
Clicks on affiliate links. Some links here point to other companies. If you click one, that company may record the visit and credit us for the referral. We do not receive your name, address, or payment details from those clicks.
What this site does not collect
No account data. There is nothing to sign up for. The site has no user registration and no login.
No payment data. We do not sell anything directly, so we never ask for a card number or a billing address.
No advertising data. We do not run display ads, and we do not sell reader data to advertisers.
No comment data. Comments are turned off across the whole site, so we do not collect commenter names, emails, or IP addresses.
Cookies
A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser. Cookies here fall into three groups.
Basic function. WordPress.com needs cookies to serve pages and remember simple settings.
Statistics. WordPress.com’s built-in stats use cookies to count visits. They are not meant to identify you as a person.
Affiliate tracking. When you click an affiliate link, the company you land on may set its own cookie so it knows the visit came from here. That cookie belongs to that company. Its privacy policy governs it, not this page.
Third-party services
Three kinds of companies can be involved when you use this site.
WordPress.com (Automattic) hosts the site. Its servers handle the requests you make.
Affiliate partners. Some links lead to companies that may pay us a commission. Each one handles data under its own privacy policy.
The email service behind the subscription form. If you subscribe, that service stores your address and sends the emails.
Your choices
Cookies. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, per site. Blocking all cookies may break parts of this site and others. To drop an affiliate cookie, clear cookies after you leave the partner’s site, or browse in a private window.
Email. Write to x1574540@gmail.com. and ask us to delete your address. We will remove it. If you reached a partner company through a link here and want that company to erase its data, contact the company directly. We cannot change records we do not hold.
This site does not require an account and does not sell data, so there is not much else to request.
Children
This site is written for adults making business decisions. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has sent us an email address, write to x1574540@gmail.com and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
If what we do changes, we rewrite this page and change the date below. We do not backdate it. The date tells you the last time this page changed.
